We’re seeking a Vice President of Product to serve on our leadership team and create transformative digital products that will drive significant impact for our customers and HR Acuity. You, in partnership with our CEO, will lead and champion our product vision, product innovation, product design, product development, and project management. Your role is vital to the intersection of product strategy and technology.

The Opportunity

  • Working closely with the CEO, bring the product vision to life, with clear strategic product priorities and business cases that will drive growth and deliver relevant and highly valuable products/features to our clients.
  • Create and maintain a 6-12 month rolling product roadmap that aligns with company strategy and product vision.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts with relevant teams (Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales & Marketing) to grow and operate a highly performing product development process for our organization.
  • Lead the Product Management responsibilities in the Agile software development process including the requirements review and scoping sessions of business requirements, validation of requirements against both business and technical domains, prioritization, etc. Support QA in developing stories for acceptance testing.
  • Be a talent magnet: source, lead, mentor, develop and inspire a team of incredible product managers, and UI/UX researchers.
  • Be customer obsessed. Deeply understand our customer and user experience and challenges. Have in-depth knowledge of the employee relations discipline, enabling you to step into our client personas’ shoes and understand exactly how they will feel when using the product. Develop a best in class, multi-phased VoC strategy that supports a continuous cycle of listening, interpreting, action and monitoring. Identify and fill product gaps to solve their problems, drive growth, differentiation and monetization.
  • Understand and track the competition and how HR Acuity and its product vision fit into the current and future tech landscape. Manage/conduct market research and create market assessments to evaluate growth opportunities.
  • Be design-focused ensuring that the product maintains a consumer-like feel to drive fast and easy adoption.
  • Facilitate decisions regarding product pricing and management of product economics
  • Develop product OKRs and market forecast models. Measure and drive product feature usage. Create qualitative and quantitative analysis-based recommendations and present to senior leadership and Board of Directors
  • Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, master’s degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of related experience as a product leader
  • Demonstrated ability at building deep relationships in each organization and being able to work with many different functions and personality types effectively.
  • Strategic & creative thinker with the ability to craft go-to-market strategies and campaigns in collaboration with marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agile processes as well as familiarity with Development and Operations (DevOps)
  • Able to formulate and implement global strategies for products
  • Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process
  • Demonstrated leadership in collaborating with, integrating feedback from, and respectfully challenging other functional areas of the business including engineering, sales, marketing, operations, customer support, and other functions. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across the organization and with clients and prospects.
  • Track record of having successfully implemented data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks
  • People leader and talent builder, with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring the research, design, and development team
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of the user experience and design
  • Direct experience with digital management software or workplace collaboration software is desired
  • Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners

Location: HR Acuity is located in Florham Park, NJ. This role can be remote W/F/H. Ability to come to the office for department/company collaboration based upon business needs
